Learning touch from the depression marks in rocks…

A Pebble Growing Feathers

My name is Jessie Sandoval. This is my blog of original poems and essays. I’m writing the story of my family’s genealogy, our migration, internal, physical, and political struggle. It wasn’t intentional, at first, but I’ve noticed that I’ve been writing a lot from the perspective of cells, atoms, and very tiny things, the impact of migration and struggle on our psyche, and anatomy. I like exploring life and activity, below the grass-line of existence, in order to play and challenge our ideas of movement, time, perception and grammar. What I can only describe, as the quantum mechanics of resistance.
